How do I know when to quit my job?
When you've stopped learning, the trajectory is clearly capped, and you dread Sunday evening for more than a month — yes. When you've had one bad sprint, a single difficult boss, or a normal mid-project slump — probably not yet. The honest test: would you take this job today, knowing what you now know?

Almost always yes. Job searches are easier from employment, and 3–6 months of runway turns into a year of stress fast.
How do I resign professionally?
Two weeks minimum, more for senior or specialised roles. Short written notice, in person if possible, no burning of bridges in the exit interview.
Should I take a counter-offer?
Usually no. The reasons you wanted to leave rarely change; in most studies, 70%+ of people who accept a counter leave within 12 months anyway.
